Wellous Group is pleased to announce the appointment of Mr. Kajendra Pathmanathan as the Chief Financial and Operations Officer (CFOO) of the Group. Mr. Kajendra initially joined Wellous as Chief Operating Officer in May 2023 and has now been appointed as CFOO, effectively taking on dual leadership roles within the organization.
With over two decades of experience in finance, corporate restructuring, and strategic business advisory, Mr. Kajendra brings extensive expertise to his roles. Prior to joining Wellous, he held senior leadership positions across multiple industries and currently serves as an Independent Non-Executive Director of Mieco Chipboard Berhad, a Main Market-listed company on Bursa Malaysia. From 2013 to 2021, he was with BRDB Developments Sdn Bhd, where he last served as Executive Director.
Mr. Kajendra began his career at Ernst & Young, Kuala Lumpur, in 1999 in the Corporate Recovery & Insolvency department before relocating to Ernst & Young, London, in 2008. During his tenure, he gained extensive experience across various industries in Asia and Europe, leading independent business reviews and advising stakeholders on corporate restructuring strategies for both public and private companies.
Academically, Mr. Kajendra holds a Bachelor of Commerce degree and a Bachelor of Law degree from The University of Melbourne. He is a member of the Institute of Chartered Accountants, Australia and New Zealand, as well as the Malaysian Institute of Accountants.
With his broad financial expertise and strategic leadership, Mr. Kajendra is well-positioned to drive Wellous Group’s continued growth and success.
